The Crozes-Hermitage 'appellation' covers 11 villages surrounding the town of Tain-l'Hermitage, and this French red is always very typical of the style of Syrah made here. This superb Rhone wine has lovely aromatic, spicy fruit on the nose and in the mouth, reminiscent of raspberries, liquorice and pepper; medium bodied and rounded but quite soft, just a tad of dry grip to finish.
